The Music Suit 2.0 is a full body wireless controller that attaches to the body. This project was commissioned for a dance and movement performance. (To be performed, Wales)
The Raspberry Pi Zero W was chosen for the arm pieces for it´s small size and ability to communicate over network. The Pi runs simple Python programming communicating via OSC sent to Max MSP.
The arm pieces contain potentiometers, buttons, leds, one IMU on the back, and gloves with flex sensors and an accelerometer.
The 3d printed chest pieces contain sound reactive LED bars and a Bitalino RIOT IMU wireless sensor.
The ankle pieces are 3d printed and contain a Bitalino RIOT IMU wireless sensor.
